WEBVTT

00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.000

00:00:04.000 --> 00:00:19.000
This is Delta Launch Control at T-51 minutes and holding. We have had a decision by Boeing Mission Director Rich Murphy and NASA Launch

00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:28.000
Manager Omar Baez that we will scrub for today. There's not enough time to complete
the work necessary at the pump house to resolve the

00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:36.000
electrical problems and still meet our launch window. This is currently planned to
be a 24-hour scrub.

00:00:36.000 --> 00:00:51.000
Our launch time remains the same on Saturday morning, 3:22:01 a.m. for ten minutes.
 Once again, we have scrubbed for today due to

00:00:51.000 --> 00:01:01.000
insufficient time to deal with an electrical problem at the launch pad associated
with the water deluge system pumps and the electrical system feeding the

00:01:01.000 --> 00:01:12.000
pump house. The launch vehicle, up to this point, had gone
through a countdown without any problems, issues or

00:01:12.000 --> 00:01:20.000
concerns. And the weather forecast was go for tonight. It's also go for Saturday.

00:01:20.000 --> 00:01:31.000
So there is not anything else to be dealt with except this one issue out at the pad,
 basically, ground support equipment necessary for flooding the

00:01:31.000 --> 00:01:46.000
launch pad with water once the Delta II launch vehicle ignites and lifts off,
part of cooling and sound suppression.

00:01:46.000 --> 00:02:01.000
Our launch coverage will resume tomorrow, Saturday morning at 1:00 a.m. Pacific time,
again, targeting 3:22 a.m. liftoff on Saturday, May the 14th.

00:02:01.000 --> 00:02:06.000
This will conclude our coverage for tonight's launch attempt. This is Delta Launch Control.

00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:11.000
