00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:01.000

00:00:01.000 --> 00:00:16.000
George Diller/STS-129 Landing Commentator: And here comes the crew. Charlie Bolden, our administrator.

00:00:16.000 --> 00:00:22.000
Angie Brewer, the flow director. Mike
Leinbach, the NASA launch director.

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:30.000
Bob Cabana, the director of the Kennedy Space Center.

00:00:30.000 --> 00:00:36.000
Butch Wilmore, our pilot, along with Steve
Payne, our NASA test director, and

00:00:36.000 --> 00:00:44.000
Pete Nickolenko, the manager of the NASA Test Director's Office.

00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:49.000
Got word that the Crew Transport Vehicle with Nicole Stott is about to leave the runway and head

00:00:49.000 --> 00:00:57.000
back to the astronaut quarters and the crew will go back in the Astrovan.

00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:00.000
Charlie Hobaugh/STS-129 Commander: Hey. Good morning. We wanted to just say a couple words.

00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:12.000
I don't even know how I can put this, but we really had truly an amazing mission. It was not us. It was not any single group.

00:01:12.000 --> 00:01:15.000
But it was just an incredible team from all around the nation.

00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:22.000
Just talking to someone under the vehicle and it's not about JSC, it's not about KSC,

00:01:22.000 --> 00:01:32.000
it's not about Marshall, Stennis, any of that. It's one huge integrated team that really makes something like this go.

00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:37.000
We were lucky. I mean, part of it's luck and
part of it's pure great skill

00:01:37.000 --> 00:01:41.000
workmanship in processing Atlantis and getting it ready for us.

00:01:41.000 --> 00:01:48.000
We had no hitches. We went off on time. We landed on time. The station's an amazing place.

00:01:48.000 --> 00:01:58.000
I have a cast of five around me that truly made my life simple. I did nothing but drive the bus a couple times.

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:05.000
These guys did all the work. They were awesome. So I was extremely lucky. Nicole came back with us -- she's doing great.

00:02:05.000 --> 00:02:11.000
She's headed back to see her family. And she did an amazing job on station.

00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:15.000
Station itself is just incredible, just like the
shuttle.

00:02:15.000 --> 00:02:20.000
It's truly an amazing vehicle and it's an incredible thrill to be able to participate in something like this.

00:02:20.000 --> 00:02:25.000
And it can't happen without the tens of thousands of people that pour their hearts and souls into the

00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:33.000
space program that support us and make something like this happen. So we just want to thank you all, appreciate it.

00:02:33.000 --> 00:02:38.000
George Diller/STS-129 Landing
Commentator: Astronauts going back for a
brief reunion with

00:02:38.000 --> 00:02:43.000
their immediate families and for lunch.

00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:52.000
Crew now boarding the Astrovan, the same one that took them out to Launch Pad 39A to board Atlantis for the STS-129 mission.

00:02:52.000 --> 00:02:53.000
