00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.000
Hundreds of people from all over the world have sent questions to our question board. Are you ready to answer some of them?

00:00:04.000 --> 00:00:09.000
Sure. And before I go there, I should just mention where we are at the launch pad.

00:00:09.000 --> 00:00:15.000
Currently we're preparing to pick up the launch countdown this afternoon. We're not working any problems or issues.

00:00:15.000 --> 00:00:22.000
All systems are go. And we look forward to a successful countdown, with a culmination with a launch on Wednesday afternoon.

00:00:22.000 --> 00:00:29.000
Great, okay. Our first question is from Karen in Jacksonville. Given all the very hard work and tribulations of the NASA team

00:00:29.000 --> 00:00:35.000
and the Shuttle Discovery's STS-114 astronauts over the last few years of the Shuttle program, could you summarize the

00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:40.000
feelings of the team and what they all will be thinking as Discovery is launched on July 13th?

00:00:40.000 --> 00:00:45.000
Well, I think each member of the team will have their own emotions and feelings based on their experiences over

00:00:45.000 --> 00:00:53.000
the last two and a half years. For me, I'll be very, very excited and very proud of the work this team has done across the country.

00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:59.000
But I'll also keep in mind that we have 12 days during the mission. And then we've got to have a successful landing at

00:00:59.000 --> 00:01:07.000
the completion of those 12 days. So we'll wait until Eileen and her crew are on the runway to celebrate.

00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:12.000
