Deputy Program Manager for the shuttle program Leroy Cain. Astronauts will now walk around space shuttle Discovery.

00:00:21.000 --> 00:00:26.000
Sandy Magnus will stay on the crew transport vehicle back to crew quarters at the

00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:32.000
Operations and Checkout Building while the other six astronauts will be transported back in the Astrovan.

00:00:41.000 --> 00:00:46.000
of the flight crew equipment destow vehicle as it docks to the orbiter white room.

00:00:46.000 --> 00:00:53.000
And to the left of the screen, you'll see on the right-hand orbiter maneuvering system, OMS pod.

Destow operations for flight crew equipment payload experiments are continuing in the crew module.

00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:16.000
Orbiter safing operations are continuing with the orbiter test conductor and the spacecraft operator in the crew module.

00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:20.000
And on the runway, the runway protection installation continues,

Lee Archambault/STS-119 Commander Hi,
I'm Lee Archambault from the STS-119 crew

00:01:31.000 --> 00:01:34.000
and we're very happy to be back here in Florida.

00:01:34.000 --> 00:01:37.000
We want to certainly thank all the people at the Kennedy Space Center for

00:01:37.000 --> 00:01:43.000
No. 1 getting Discovery ready for launch -- fighting through some technical glitches before we launched even,

00:01:43.000 --> 00:01:46.000
but they got is ready and they got us launched safely.

00:01:46.000 --> 00:01:50.000
We had a very successful mission. Very proud that we were able to bring up the S6 truss,

00:01:50.000 --> 00:01:53.000
the final power segment for the International Space Station.

00:01:53.000 --> 00:01:58.000
And we're very, very happy we were able to bring Discovery right back here to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:01.000
So to everyone at the Kennedy Space
Center, thank you very much for the great job

00:02:01.000 --> 00:02:08.000
leading up the launch and thank you very much for coming out here today. Take care.

00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:11.000
Candrea Thomas/STS-119 Landing Commentator The astronauts will now get on the silver Astrovan,

00:02:11.000 --> 00:02:14.000
where they'll be transported back to crew quarters in the

00:02:14.000 --> 00:02:28.000
Operations and Checkout Building. And as you can see, the astronauts are now departing the Shuttle Landing Facility.

00:02:28.000 --> 00:02:37.000
